LEMIEUX MAKES SELECT SQUAD

          Pittsburgh Penguins center Mario Lemieux, a three-time All-Star Most Valuable Player in 1985 1988 and 1990, and owner of the all-star record for points in one game, has been named to the North America all-stars for the 51st National Hockey League mid-season game set for Sunday Feb. 4th in Denver. The starting time is 2:30 p.m. The game will be seen on ABC Television.
          Lemieux, who returned to the rink on Dec. 27th after three and a half years away from the game, has nine goals and 10 assists for 19 points through nine games this season.. He is ranked second in career all-star game goals and points with 11 and 20, respectively.
